Sunday 1st October 2017 is our Harvest Festival, and we will be bringing thanksgiving offerings of food to be passed on to our local food bank, Hambleton FoodShare; and of money to be given to the Open Doors Rebuild Hope campaign.
In the past seven years, millions of people have been displaced by the conflict in Iraq and Syria. For those who want to return, it will be an uphill struggle of rebuilding homes and villages from scratch. They need water, electricity, building equipment and heaps of encouragement.
